Milwaukee Health Services, Inc. pays tribute to the legacy of C. C. Henderson
As an example of the dedication and love Cicero Caesar best known as C. C. Henderson the late president/ CEO of Milwaukee Health Services, Inc. During a recent visit to IMPACT, new Milwaukee County Supervisor, Nikiya Harris (right) learned more about the 2-1-1 @ IMPACT social service hotline from Community Resource Specialist, Natia, and Program Director, Bob Waite. 2-1-1 @ IMPACT, on track to take over 125,000 calls this year, receives funding from Milwaukee County and the United Way of Greater Milwaukee to provide easy access to family, health and social services.

Residents with credit problems can learn how to rebuild their credit at a free workshop offered at the Social Development Commission (SDC). SDC and UW Credit Union will present the free Credit Repair session Tuesday, August 3 from 6 to 7:30 pm. The workshop will be held at the SDC Richards Street facility at 4041 N. Richards and will include information on credit basics, common problems with credit and how to start rebuilding your credit. This week, we learned that despite their best strategies and solid customer service, Applebee’s at Midtown Center has been forced to close permanently on Wednesday, July 28, 2010. In a statement to me, Applebee’s Chief Development Officer explained that they have proudly served in the area for more than 6 years, but despite attempts to innovate and operate through our current economic crisis, the restaurant has been forced to close.
Earlier this year, Applebee’s in Sturgeon Bay area was closed due to the same circumstances.

The festival took place June 13 thru 16, 2010 at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel located in the heart of the Canadian Rockies in Alberta , Canada. Attorney Michael F. WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service today announced the availability of a new job search tool on You- Tube dedicated to helping job seekers learn about employment opportunities at the IRS.
