The Energy Assistance Program operated by the Social Development Commission (SDC) in Milwaukee County offers help for income eligible households having trouble paying those heating bills. With leaders from Wisconsin and around the world gathering in Copenhagen to discuss climate change, the Housing Ministries of the American Baptists of Wisconsin Plymouth Apartments this week, became one of the first public housing complexes in the state to go solar as part of their Energy Independence and Jobs Plan.
