Time Warner Cable will present its 6th annual Time Warner Cable STEMfest, where more than 6,000 children and adults from around southeast Wisconsin will participate in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) activities at Discovery World.
The event, taking place Saturday, November 8 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Discovery World, located 500 N. Harbor Drive, in Milwaukee, will be free and open to the public.

Next weekend 4,000 children and adults are expected for Time Warner Cable’s (TWC) fifth annual STEMfest at Discovery World, including groups of students from local schools, nearly 1,000 Girl Scout troop members, and families from across southeast Wisconsin.
All those attending receive FREE admission to Discovery World, which includes all the special STEMfest exhibits set up for this event.
TWC’s STEMfest was created as part of its Connect a Million Minds (CAMM) initiative to inspire young people to pursue education and careers in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).

The Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure in Southeast Wisconsin is part of Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, the world’s largest and most progressive grassroots network fighting to end breast cancer forever. Recently Mexican Fiesta hosted a “Make your own Tortilla” at Discovery World as part of its Cultural Day. The children along with some of their parents learned how to roll their own dough, and then adult volunteers grilled the tortilla for them.
