Salvation Army Set to Feed 8,000
Wauwatosa, WI (December, 2014) There are just 24 days and counting until this year’s 25th Annual Christmas Family Feast, hosted by The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County. More than 1,400 volunteers will help prepare a home style dinner of turkey, ham, yams, mash potatoes & gravy, green beans, dessert and beverages for more than 8,000 people in the ballroom of the Wisconsin Center District, located at 400 W. Wisconsin Ave. on Christmas Day from 11:00 to 2:30 p.m.

Career Youth Development (CYD) held its annual event, “Toys for Children that Santa Forgot, but God Remembered” last week at the North Divisioin Campus.
Hundreds of children received toys, sponsors donated toys, and volunteers from Walgreens along with others passed them out to the children.
This event is done in remembrance of Jeannetta Robinson’s granddaughter Lil Netta who was discovered giving toys away to children attending her own birthday party.

The Salvation Army of Milwaukee County will host the annual Christmas Family Feast at the Wisconsin Center District, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue from 11:00 to 2:30 p.m. on Christmas Day.

In celebration of the Christmas Season, Parklawn Assembly of God Church hosted a live Nativity on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 16th and 17th. The Nativity took place outside in front of the church located at 3725 N. Sherman Blvd. and featured live actors and live animals. The Salvation Army and partner 1290 WMCS are just days away from the 22nd Annual Christmas Family Feast. The organizations are preparing to serve thousands on Sunday, December 25 Christmas Day at the Frontier Airlines Center, 400 W.
