CYD held its 25th Annual Lil’ Jeannetta Toys for the Children that Santa Forgot but God Remembered through your Gifts of Love event on Monday, Dec. 28 at the location of the (former) North Division High School from 3:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Hupy & Abraham, S.C. donates $12,000 to feed 2500 people this holiday season

For more than a decade, Hupy & Abraham , S.C. has provided holiday meals for families in need. This year the firm donated $6,000 for Thanksgiving meals and another $6,000 for Christmas meals to feed hungry families in the communities they serve. 100 families in the Milwaukee area received food baskets filled with a turkey or ham and all the ingredients to prepare a delicious Thanksgiving meal. The 20th Annual Christmas Family Feast sponsored by 1290 WMCS and the Salvation Army will take place on Christmas Day, Dec. 25, 2009, at the Midwest Airline Center, 400 W. Wisconsin Avenue from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm.

In appreciation for a donation of scarves that will be worn by the women of the chorus for the first time at their Dec. 11 and 12 Christmas concerts, The Milwaukee Choristers have announced their support of a coat drive launched by Burlington Coat Factory.
