The annual Kwanzaa Celebration kicked off on Wednesday, Dec. 26, at the Wisconsin Black Historical Society, 2620 W. Center Street. The first night was Umoja (Unity)! Kwanzaa events rotated throughout locations across the city, and will end on Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013 at The African American Women’s Center, 3020 W. Vliet St. from 12:00 noon until 5:00 pm.
