PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE

2013 Milwaukee County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)

Milwaukee County, pursuant to the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development guidelines, will be holding a public hearing to hear oral presentations from all potential grant Sub-recipients who have timely submitted their grant proposals and are eligible grant applicants seeking to receive CDBG funds for the 2013 grant cycle.

The Public Hearing will be held on Monday, September 17th, 2012 9:00 a.m. at The Milwaukee County Court House, located at 901 N. 9th Street, Room 201 Milwaukee, WI 53233. Milwaukee County will be receiving 2013 federal CDBG funding totaling approximately $1,200,000. The CDBG funding is to be shared between Milwaukee County and 16 participating municipalities. The municipal share will be allocated in accordance with Inter-Governmental Cooperation Council policy adopted for this purpose. It is proposed that the County’s share be used for county-wide projects. Approximately 20% is set aside for administrative costs.
