Rep. Coggs and King Advisory Inc. to honor Daniela Matthews on Saturday, Aug. 11

This year’s theme is “The Dream Will Not Be Deferred… Celebrate The Goodness of Life” in honor of the beautiful Daniela Marie Sayas Matthews, who passed away earlier this year at the age of 35. Daniela Matthews was a former board member of King Advisory Inc., assistant to Rep. Elizabeth Coggs, dedicated wife and mother of four.

Eighteen years ago, Representative Elizabeth Coggs, Founder, had a dream of getting our children excited and enthused about education and going back to school.

This dream became a reality with volunteers, sponsors, local and state-wide businesses. The Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Back-to-School Festival is a community event that attracts more than 20,000 people each year. Patrons enjoy free entertainment from local and national artists, food, games, book bags and supplies which takes place at Milwaukee’s own King Park.

Please join King Advisory Inc. Board as they pay tribute to Daniela Matthews and the Matthews Family for their years volunteering, sharing, and giving to the community.

The board will officially name the school supply area after Daniela Marie Sayas Matthews, this Saturday, August 11, 2012, 11:30 to 6:00 pm at the King Park, 1531 W. Vliet Street at the Dr. Martin Luther King Park.
