For over forty-five years, the Social Development Commission (SDC) has served as a planner, coordinator, and implementer of human service programs for low-income individuals and families in Milwaukee County. We currently have the following job openings:
W-2 EAA Workshop Facilitator
Work with pariticipants in the W-2 program to assist them with skills, resources and provide motivation during their job seeking period. Daily orientations are conducted for new participants before they see a Financial Employment Planner (FEP) and daily workshop are conducted for participants who are referred by a case worker to attend.
W-2 Placement Specialist
The Placement Specialist is responsible for jobmatching and placement of W-2 clients with participating employers. Will maintain communication with the employer, client and W-2 agency staff to ensure coordination of employment services and communication of outcomes, if appropriate. May act as a liaison between the client, employer and Agencies. This position is responsible for the development of job opportunities and placement of clients.
