Casino’s Creative Department honored with single-spot, campaign awards

Potawatomi Bingo Casino swept the commercial categories at the 2011 Chicago/ Midwest Emmy Awards, held Sunday, Nov. 6, in Chicago.

The in-house creative department, housed within Potawatomi Bingo Casino’s Marketing Department, won the Emmys for Outstanding Achievement in Commercials – Single Spot, for the Casino’s Winball promotion; and Outstanding Achievement in Commercials – Campaign, for the Casino’s 2010 branding efforts.

Those honored for the single spot award include: Ann Smiley, Creative Manager; Chris Verespej, Creative Supervisor; Corey Karinen, AV Supervisor; Jeff Becker, Video Animation Designer; Phil Paulik, Video Animation Designer; Ryan Daniels, Graphic Designer; and Lisa Kline, Copywriter.

Smiley, Karinen, Daniels and Kline were also honored for the campaign award.

“We’re truly humbled in receiving this recognition,” said Potawatomi Bingo Casino Marketing director Kristina Potrykus. “It speaks to the hard work and immense talent demonstrated right here with our in-house creative department at Potawatomi Bingo Casino.”
