Breast cancer is the most common form of cancer for American women after skin cancer. But surviving breast cancer and thriving is very possible, especially if the disease is detected early. Learn more about the disease at a special Breast Cancer Information Session held Wednesday, August 18 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at the Health Education and Referral Center at the Social Development Commission building at 4041 N. Richards Street in Milwaukee. The free session is being offered by Kohl’s Department Stores, the American Cancer Society and SDC. For more information, call 414-906-2704.
