Upsilon Mu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated (R) is sponsoring its thirteenth annual AKA Family Fun Day. This yearly event provides a FREE fun-filled afternoon for Milwaukee community members of all ages. The theme for the 2010 event is: “An Active Family is a Healthy Family: Fun, Fitness, and Fellowship.”

The event will be held from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Albright United Methodist Church located at 5555 West Capitol Drive in Milwaukee. This activity-filled afternoon will include a Wii video game challenge, activities for adults and youth, arts and crafts, FREE food (while supplies last), local entertainment, FREE health screening for Diabetes and High Blood Pressure and much, much more! AKA Family Fun Day is co-sponsored by Educators Credit Union, Milwaukee Recreation Department, Ministry Partnership and Goodwill Industries.

The following mini-workshops will be presented: budgeting, using the Internet and other basic computer programs. Registration is not needed and ALL are welcome.
