Luscious Boutique, a store that specifically caters to women with curves, is giving back to the community in a generous way. The Boutique, located at 522 N. Water, is a collection site for the Cinderella Project MKE until April 2. The Cinderella Project MKE is a national project brought to Milwaukee by the Gadzuric Foundation. The Gadzuric Foundation teamed up with Luscious Boutique to become one of the collection sites. The Cinderella Project MKE encourages people to donate formal dresses, gowns and accessories to collection sites all over Milwaukee, as well as Luscious Boutique. The donated items are then given to young girls, at no charge, from low-income families who want to attend prom and other formal high school events.

“I am honored as a local boutique owner to participate in the Cinderella Project. I think it is important that young girls, regardless of their financial status, are able to participate in milestone events throughout their high school years such as prom and homecoming,” said Kotti, owner of Luscious Boutique.

Luscious Boutique is encouraging people to donate new or gently used dresses, gowns and/or accessories for the Cinderella Project MKE. Kotti will also donate dresses from the Boutique’s last year fleet to the Project.
