As an example of the dedication and love Cicero Caesar best known as C. C. Henderson the late president/ CEO of Milwaukee Health Services, Inc. (MHSI) had for Milwaukee’s African American community, MHSI announced that it will continue to provide access to care to the underserved. State officials highlight new booster shots, encourage everyone to get their flu shot
MADISON— It’s back-to-school time, and state health officials are encouraging parents to put immunizations at the top of their lists. While Wisconsin traditionally ranks high on childhood immunizations, parents are advised to be aware of newly recommended vaccines, including seasonal flu shots.

$117,000 in funds awarded to community partners since July
United Way of Greater Milwaukee has awarded $47,000 in Urgent Need Fund grants to three of its community partners to support their emerging and urgent needs.
$25,000 was awarded to Guest House of Milwaukee’s Guest House Counseling Clinic. The clinic provides professional, onsite substance abuse and mental health treatment designed to meet specific needs of Milwaukee ’s homeless population. Many pundits and politicians critical of Obama have been saying that the scheduled Iraq withdrawal is much less than meets the eye. Their points of criticism are that 50,000 troops will stay in the country, at a cost of billions more in U.S. tax dollars, and there’s no firm guarantee that they’ll all go packing any time soon.
